Greening our city, illustations and infographics.
The City of Melbourne has proactively taken action to support amenity, liveability and adaptation to climate change. Actions have focused on expanding urban greening in public areas, and making available relevant information to the public These illustrations and infographics helped CoM communicate their plans in a concise and engaging way and introduced changes to the planning scheme.
CITY OF MELBOURNE - FUTURE MELBOURNE 2050
Future Melbourne Workshop posters and illustration explored CoM's vision for the future of Melbourne.
Workshop activities were based on new urban developments that would influence the function and feel of the city over the next 30 years. These display boards and illustrations provided a framework to explore challenges, opportunities and timeframes for key changes in Melbourne. Participants were invited to post ideas on the various posters based on the theme of each illustration.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
ECHUCA MOAMA + YARRA VALLEY WATER
Infographics to educate and inspire.
The councils of Yarra Valley, Echuca and Moama, required support to communicate plans for upgrades to the communities utilities and infrastructure. These infographics were used in reports, websites and stakeholder meetings to efficiently and clearly define the benefits of the projects to the communities most affected.
FISHERMANS BEND - CIRCULAR ECONOMY
Fishermans Bend, Waste to Energy Concept infographic was produced to provide the client with the incentive to explore the project with Arup.
Waste management has become one of Melbourne’s greatest challenges, along with a need to develop a Net Zero Emissions future by 2050.
This illustration and infographic provided a platform to open discussions with various stakeholders on the benefits of the proposed project.
